My life transformed on a sunny Wednesday afternoon in May when I walked into my boudoir photographer’s studio in Chelsea NYC at 5pm.

I was tired, feeling disheveled and as usual, my mind was talking me out of doing something so “unreasonable, impractical and frivolous.”

But my soul knew better.

So I moved forward and the transformation that I’ve experienced in the last 3 months has allowed me to show up as the fullest, most self-expressed version of myself and it’s been phenomenal.

To be honest with you – I’d been postponing writing you today.

I wondered: “How could I possibly put into words the deep welling surges, shifts and breakthroughs that I have experienced since my boudoir shoot in May?”

How could a photo shoot be so life transforming you ask?

Let me explain.

I entered that studio a scared 39 year old woman.

A woman who was still afraid of owning her power.

A woman who was easily tempted to discount her value and to shrivel in the face of confrontation.

A woman who couldn’t really grasp the beauty that was both within and outside of herself.

A woman who thought she wasn’t the “kind of woman who did such a thing” despite a burning desire to do it!

That is…. Until that today.

Today I can honestly tell you that I feel excited about being seen because I’ve faced my fear of being seen in the eyes and passed with flying colours.

Today I feel so light and beautiful in my skin and love the smile in the mirror.

Today I feel whole and complete all because of this experience.

As women, we cannot show up fully in our lives until we embrace ALL of ourselves: our sexy, sensual, sexy, vibrant, intoxicating, magnetic and unapologetically giddy part of ourselves.

And yet – for me, I hid these parts of myself all the time. I didn’t know how to harness that energy for a higher good so I squashed it.

The cost?

It stunted my joy, my growth and my sense of vitality. I slouched when I walked on the street, I covered myself to avoid inviting attention and my voice was timid when I spoke.

I hid, I shrank and I waited.

I kept waiting until …..I was thinner, smarter, richer, ready enough to make a BOLD MOVE (You can fill in the blanks here!).

I waited until the moment I realized: “If not now, then when?”

In that moment I took responsibility for creating my own life experiences and owned my choice to “choose different”.

I got to choose a broader, richer, deeper experience of life in my amazing body.

In doing so, my way of being and my business have blossomed and flourished in ways I couldn’t imagine.

The change…

I stand tall today knowing that I am beautiful, radiant and gorgeous (even with my lumps and imperfections).

My income has tripled.

I go out a LOT more and as a result of my increased visibility, my income and impact continue to grow.

I am inspiring other women to show up in the fullness of who they are

I make ZERO apologies for being a gorgeous, smart, successful, passionate and a sensual woman – PERIOD.

The secret to my transformation: I SHOWED UP FOR MYSELF AND MY LIFE.

I let my soul lead me, not my fears.

This shoot spawned an amazing new direction in my business: supporting women to have a powerful breakthrough in being seen so THEY TOO CAN EXPERIENCE this level of joy, ease and swagger in their lives.
