Have you been in a position where you’ve doubted your message and whether people will be able hear it?

Do you worry that because you’re not selling the latest “hype-y” service that no one will want to purchase what you have to offer?

If this rings true, you’re not alone.

When we step into our purpose more, there’s a very real fear that our target audience won’t like our message, or want to pay for it.

This is very common, in fact.

It happened to me. Last Fall, when I chose “Live the Dream” as my new brand and tag line I was excited and really nervous.

What if people didn’t resonate with my passion to help them live their dreams?

What if people thought this was “airy fairy” and would ridicule me?

Lately I’ve been working with amazing women entrepreneurs who are being called to step into their purpose more fully and in the process tweak their message to what they are really here to do.

And they are scared sh*tless.

The fear of losing current clients, having people judge them or think they’re crazy and, the fear of not making money is very real.

But the Truth is that when they connect to their Truth, they know in their hearts the value and the power of their message.

The reality is that they are being called to create a PARADIGM SHIFT in their industries.

And yes (gulp!), that’s darn scary.

I have been on this same boat. Sometimes I wonder if people will think I’m in “la-la” land.

But the Truth is that we are the ones being called to carry the torch of our message.

We are trailblazers.

We are here to “ruffle some feathers”.

And for some of us, our message is meant for a select segment of the population; not the masses.

Your target audience may be very specific. And this is a good thing.

This is because when you identify your target market – those people that are already open, ready and super eager to hear your message – your business will grow with more ease and fulfillment.

You will be going where people already want to hear from you. You won’t need to convince people of your point of view. They’ll already be waiting with open arms and hearts to receive you in all your glory.

So what if the issue wasn’t your message but just finding the right audience that will give you roaring applause for being their champion and their hero?

The other part is to consistently remind yourself of why your message is so important to you and why you are so passionate about it.

Go back to your case studies and testimonials where you saw proof positive of the transformation that was possible from people taking on your message and making it their own.

And here’s the really GOOD NEWS: when you step into your message more fully, you experience greater abundance: both financially and in your level of impact and fulfillment.

So if you’ve been afraid of stepping in the fullness of your message:

1. Connect to why this message is so important to you and your target audience + the benefits of your work
2. Get support from trusted colleagues and mentors to support you as you navigate the journey
3. Take baby steps to build your confidence and to create new evidence that you can be wildly successful sharing your ideal message
4. Notice the synchronicities and opportunities that show up (often with more EASE) as you look to share your message.

And if there’s a part of you that still wonders if anyone will hire you because of your message, start talking to communities and companies that already believe in what you believe and take it from there.

I’d love to hear below what your ideal message is and how the process of really stepping into it has been for you.
