Can things be even easier than we make them out to be?
This has been an inquiry of mine for the last 6 months, coincidentally as I chose to start rebranding and live my dreams traveling globally.
And today has been an incredibly blessed day that made the ups and downs of entrepreneurship so worthwhile.
But first, I spent the last 3 weeks in a funk moving through blocks, sitting in the muck of my emotions, I spent a few restless nights and it all came to a head when I was called once again to make a choice by my soul guides:
Trust more deeply that the Universe has my back and make a choice:
Do I choose to have faith that life can be easier, (i.e. do I choose EASE and trust in this new paradigm) or do I choose “hard”?
This week I reviewed how I get my clients and realized they come pretty easily to me. I do market myself consistently in inspired and aligned ways. And as a result, it’s a pretty organic process and people just know when they’re ready for me and they are called to lean in for a conversation.
And yet, there’s this old programming of needing to be responsible, a grown up and not appearing lazy in my business.
Truth is I think I’m a lazy bum who has been giving into a crazy ego on over-drive most days.
The truth is that I don’t believe in working too hard.
I think it’s a futile practice. I’d much rather be having fun and enjoying my life.
This isn’t to say that I don’t love my work and enjoy it greatly, because I do.
However, I am allowing myself to indulge in life more which to me is the whole point of working: to live.. …not living to just work. Life’s too short for that and truth be told, I’ve done that for most of my life.
And so now, as I am preparing to launch a brand new program during my D.A.R.E. to Live your Dreams in 2015 Google hangout webinar on May 12th (details below) I had to look at where my old pattern of overworking to prove that I’m a serious business owner was raising its ugly head.
So choice: do I choose to create an aligned, joyful, EASE-filled launch or do I try to do everything I can think of in a panic?
So I had to look at the question: ease or struggle?
I chose EASE.
Everything in my body shivered. This is such unfamiliar and uncomfortable territory – ease, that is.
But my desire for more EASE is greater than my desire for “hard”.

Today, I coincidentally manifested an amazing housesitting opportunity in San Diego with incredible ease, I had a close family member gift me $500 just because she wanted to, I’ve had amazing people reach out to work with me and I had an amazing day with my family. Why? Because I chose to stay in a good vibration of trust instead of freaking out.
Everything we desire is available to us.
The key to having them is to make some critical choices along the way: will you choose to trust your desires or will you revert to old patterns that while “safe” don’t really give you what you want or allow you to grow?
