Dear Sweet One,

April was an intense month.  Did you feel it?

There was an Eclipse and with all of the intense cosmic energies swirling around there were a lot of breakdowns and upheavals.

Coincidentally, it was also my best month in business ever. Between the launch of my 10 day whole body Desire Cleanse, my first group program Soul Sessions: Speak Your Truth and being more visible, I had more clients than I knew what to do with.

And yet, the month didn’t start off that way.

I had come out of several months of personal growth, reflection and pain. I shared some of that with you in former newsletters.

I had, on 3 distinct occasions seriously considered throwing in the towel in my business. Things weren’t moving fast enough for me, I was about to start re-branding and I was overwhelmed by the amount of work involved. Then I did a sponsorship event last week and that meant more marketing materials and a mad dash to the printers.

The more I did the inner work, stayed present and acted in the highest service of my clients, the more my business flourished.

What do I attribute all of this to?

The power of alignment:

All of the “stuff” (people, habits, patterns, emotions) that we have to release and shed.

All of the seemingly unimportant distractions: the miscommunications, breakups, healing, trusting of my intuition … it all had a role to play in my April bottom line.

All of the healing and the releasing aligned me to really show up the way I did in April.

All of the coaching with my masterful coach that supported me through the ups and downs (I always have a coach on my team, always!).

It’s ALL connected.

Every experience is a link that connects us to where we are today and that allows us to show up as the fullest expression of ourselves via @sweetpathgirl {tweet it}

Everything and everyone is connected. Life experiences don’t happen by accident. I know this now for sure. Every experience connects us to a powerful lesson that brings us closer to what we desire.

Alignment is about letting go of what no longer serves us so we can show up in the most authentic version of ourselves.

The inner work, the healing, the breakdowns, the upheavals, the lessons learned, the upsets, they are ALL so critical to our growth. They are teaching us powerful lessons so that we can show up in the world as the magnificent women that we really are.

Alignment means that before things “click”, they must fall apart so they can then fall into place.

I have said before that my 3 years in business have been the most challenging of my life. I have been tested multiple times. I have felt incredible sadness, rage, fear and anxiety unlike anything I’d experienced before.

My point is this: that we will be called to move through the bad stuff to really appreciate the good stuff when it comes.

To get to an amazingly fulfilling and profitable month and to a new brand (stay tuned … I’ll be announcing my new website in a couple of weeks!) I went through a LOT of breakdowns this year alone.

I have often felt like I was behind schedule in my life. Sound familiar?

I don’t have it all together in so many ways. And yet, I’m constantly reminded that I am right on time.

I have experienced a lot of emotions that at times felt distracting and yet – they all helped me to speak my truth, own my value, stand up for what I believe in, and to be more compassionate and loving towards myself and others.

I make mistakes all the time. Sometimes I put my foot in my mouth or in an email (!).

But I keep on going.

Alignment to me means that you own who you are and your truth. You stop lying to yourself about what’s not working and start changing things so that they work for YOU.

Here’s a photo of me and the lovely ladies that helped me at my sponsorship table last week.

I felt SO aligned and on purpose that evening.

My marketing materials had my new messaging and colours (yum!). We had rose petals around my spot so people had a mini experience of what it was like to be in my world. We had lots of people stopping by.

I was so happy to be doing the work that I do. It was totally awesome! It was like a coming out party for the new me.

And again – it was all very intentional.  None of it happened by accident.

I was deliberate. I was fiercely devoted to moving through my stuff and my resistance to get to a point where I felt comfortable being visible in the world again.

So my message to you today is to stay in the game of life. Align with your true Self.

Continue shedding what no longer serves you. Don’t give up before the miracle. Just keep going.

Sometimes we just have a series of lessons to learn that are sculpting us to become the best version of ourselves for us and the world.

Alignment rocks!

This week, look at one area of your life that feels out of alignment and make changes to re-align. It will feel awesome.

To your sweet success,

P.S. A very happy Mother’s Day to all the lovely ladies on my list. Much love to all of you and for your amazing service!
